Can you believe I have been working with animals for 20 years now!

Years ago I started as a kennel assistant at a local pet resort and moved my way up to lead caretaker. As I was finishing high school I decided to proceed in the animal world by signing up at DMACC for Vet Technician classes and landed a start to my career at Iowa Veterinary Specialties working as an ER Vet Tech. A few years into the vet technician job I had a light bulb moment where I was handed a pair of clippers to shave a severely neglected dog down.

At this moment I knew I was going to get into the dog grooming industry. I found it very rewarding to help an animal in need while seeing how much happiness came from my willingness to step in. Soon after I was working at Petco before I knew it I was graduating from their pet stylist program!

I moved out to California landing in a dog salon while being there I learned even more in this field of work and how STANDARDS need to be set!

While lifting my roots and heading up to Oregon to live I became a Dog Care Taker for an amazing Saint Bernard Breeder up in the mountains. This also dipped my feet into the show dog world as they participated in many events to have their dogs shown.

After all these years my passion is still going strong with dog grooming! I am grateful for all the opportunities I have been able to glide into while being in the dog world.

Now that Tribe of Paws is here, more doors will be opening and I look forward to the journey ahead!
